You will be part of a collaborative, physician-led team that works as one and puts patients at the center of everything we do. **Position Highlights:*** ## Full Time: 40 Hours/Week* ## Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm; hours may vary depending on MD schedules* ## Location: Winfield## Benefits:* ## Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.* ## Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.* ## Employer provided life and disability insurance.* ## $5,250 Tuition Reimbursement per year.* ## Immediate 401(k) match.* ## 40 hours paid volunteer time off.* ## A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.* ## Up to 12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members once eligibility requirements are met.## ## Responsibilities:* ## Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history* ## Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures* ## Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections* ## Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing* ## Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests* ## Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits* ## Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values* ## Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required## ## Qualifications* ## High school diploma or GED required* ## Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required* ## Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following: + ## American Medical Technologists (AMT) + ## National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) + ## National Healthcareer Association (NHA) + ## American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) + ## American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)* ## CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required* ## May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire* ## Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care## ## The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package. #J-18808-Ljbffr
