Outside Sales Representative

We're seeking an outside sales representative to grow roll-off business with construction, demolition, renovation, and environmental services customers. This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys prospecting, visiting jobsites, building contractor relationships, and closing new business.

Responsibilities

• Find new opportunities through cold calls, jobsite visits, referrals, and research into upcoming projects.
• Build relationships with contractors, developers, project managers, superintendents, and other decision-makers.
• Learn each project's schedule, waste streams, and container needs.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and protect profitability.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying new projects and service needs.
• Work with operations and dispatch to ensure reliable service.
• Track opportunities, follow-ups, and forecasts in the CRM.

Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience.
• A record of winning business through cold prospecting.
• Experience selling to contractors or construction companies.
• Background in waste, roll-off, construction, equipment rental, building materials, environmental services, or a related industry.
• Strong territory management, relationship-building, and CRM skills.
